Today DS’s DOMERB status changed to “Remedial Requested” as expected. However, no information was requested regarding one future procedure noted (or conditions leading up to procedure). DS is scheduled to have his tonsils out over Thanksgiving break. Is it fair to assume that DODMERB is only concerned about what has occurred to date and that procedures will be communicated for future medical events? We just don’t want something so simple to fall through the cracks.
And as a side note for anyone wondering how to get medical records, it is surprisingly simple. We just made a call to the doctor, signed a release form, and had records mailed to us (so we can keep a copy) within a couple days.
