More importantly , can you bring your personal laptop at some point?
I heard you can bring your own laptop to NAPS but I am not 100% certain as I will (hopefully!) be reporting there this July. I don't know if they issue them or not, but I am pretty sure that you really aren't supposed bring your own personal computer to the Academy once you are issued a computer there, as there are programs and things that need to be added to them and IT is much easier when everyone has the same computer.

Can't speak for other prep schools, but someone previously posted that at NAPS, you are issued a laptop which is then returned at the end of the year (unlike USNA).
