Do y'all think that being the Vice President of my class and being captain of my football captain are sufficient leadership positions for the USNA?

They are 27.858736% qualifying . Haha no but really those are awesome leadership roles! Especially captain of the football team. Those definitely show you take a leadership role in your community but there's no true way for us to say whether something is "good enough" but those definitely show leadership so you're on the right path:)

Strive to become a well-rounded individual and try to expose yourself to as many things as possible, whether you feel comfortable or not! Break out of that comfort zone! Wish you the best!

I think you need to look at this in a different way. It's not a matter of defining what "sufficient" is but rather what you did with the positions you held and what meaningful leadership qualities you brought to them. What did you actually do in the roles....how did you demonstrate leadership...what initiatives did you develop or further? Being a captain or a VP are merely titles unless you put some meat to them by being able to articulate the nuts and bolts of how you brought those roles to life.
