Legacy

There has been several threads on this (just search for "legacy") - there are differing opinions, but general consensus may help a bit, but not much.

[Note: I have no direct knowledge regarding bottom-line legacy impact, just sharing observations based on forum discussions.]
 
It will do very little. It will help get you a point or so, but not much more. I am a believer that where legacies can have an advantage is their familiarity with the SA world and application process. Having someone who has been there and done that can help to guide a path early in their education path to take a challenging schedule, volunteer, scouts, sports, etc. It can help, especially if someone has expressed an interest early on that they want to follow in the family foot steps.
