This was in 2020/2021 application period. DS was told the medical exam result would be sent to DODMERB in 4 weeks. However, the DoDMERB status did not updated even after 4 weeks which always showed something like "waiting". Called physician's office and always got machine, left several voice mail and no one cared to call back. Posted Q here and emailed Mr. Mullen who was a life savior that asked DODMERB person to nudge the physician's office several times to demand the result which finally came in after 6 weeks from the exam date...Lessons learned:
1. Make sure you give physician pressure to compile and send out ASAP.
2. Ask for physician's direct number if possible, or something you can hold on to talk to real person
3. Inform DoDMERB if result are not updated in time (I think the window is 4 weeks)

There are always people out there including physicians who are careless of things. To them, it'd be "oops, sorry, I forgot", but it could completely ruin the chance for applicants. Make sure you take care of the process instead of depending on someone else to take care of the process for you.

Wish you all best of luck!

OK.
The only correction is, applicants are not going to speak with physicians. I speak for all the physicians. Reason? If the physicians are on the phone...they're not working cases. There is no need to speak with physicians. Our Docs write such good notes, I can answer ALL questions:wiggle:
