Hi,

I applied for all nomination source but didn't get one. I was really disappointed and sad knowing Vice president nomination chance.
But, I got letter from USNA regarding this matter today.

The Naval Academy has been notified that you have requested a Vice Presidential nomination for the Class of 2022.

We will use the documentation submitted with your application when we review your request for a Vice Presidential nomination. Therefore, you should not send any additional paperwork to the Vice President?s Office. The Naval Academy application deadline is February 1, 2018.

Vice Presidential nominations are only one of several possible sources, and we encourage you to apply for all nominations available to you. Each Congressional and Senate office has its own nomination application process, so it is recommended you contact those offices directly. Additional information for applying to the Naval Academy and the nomination process is available online at www.usna.edu/admissions.

If you have any questions regarding your Vice Presidential nomination request, please call USNA Admissions at 410-293-4392 for assistance. Thank you for your interest in the Naval Academy, and best wishes as you complete your application for the Class of 2022! Good luck and Beat Army.

Does everyone requested vice presidential nomination get this letter? Or USNA is considering me as competitive enough to get one from vice presidential nomination?

If anyone has any input, it will be great. Thanks in advance.

Whether this helps or not I’m not sure, but I too recevied that message and my assumption was it is automatically sent if you applied for VP.

I am pretty sure that everyone who applies for the VP nom receives this letter. I received multiple congressional noms, and I still received the very same letter.

Thanks . Good luck with everyone replied. I don't want my hopes up knowing it is for everyone.

I got nominations for other SA but they didn't send letters like this . So just checking..

Did you receive a physical letter or an email? Because I also applied for a VP nom, but I didn't receive anything.

Yes, I got this email from USNA today. Do you have any other nomination? I got nominations for all other SA except USNA but they didn't send any letter on this matter.
Good Luck!
USNA was my first choice......

Conversely, my DS (who also applied for the VPOTUS nomination) never got such an EMail or letter.

Must be a form letter, DS just received same email and he already has 3 noms, and has accepted his appointment. Must be a way of acknowledging the VP application.
