Would it be appropriate to ask my FFR for a letter of recommendation for the nominations? I’m trying to make a balanced set of recommendations, and so far I have one from my high school program coordinator, and hs gymnastics coach. None of my teachers have gotten back to me… probably because I didn’t do the best in their class cause I was going through things which i know are just excuses; bottom line i dont think they like me or know me enough to write a whole letter which you guys can give me hate for but I can’t change the past. Obviously i would like to go back in time and make a better impact, but i can’t. So if you don’t mind, try to hold back any snarky comments, i am simply looking for advice on whether or not i could ask my FFR.

And i know my FFR might not know me enough to write a full letter because they haven’t spent the time with me, but again, just asking. I can’t think of any more sources.

Likely this is not appropriate. Letters of recommendation should come from those that know you in an extended capacity. Also, this may "be or appear to be a conflict of interest" between FFR duties and the Nomination process. FFRs are likely governed by rules to guard against conflicts of interest-I know BGOs are.

The good news is that this is a new school year and you have time to make a great impression on your new teachers. Get to know them and show genuine interest in their class and subject. One thing is almost always true.... it's never too late to make things better and change your circumstances and you are 100% in control of that.

That is not appropriate. A Field Force rep would not provide you a letter of recommendation in this process as that is not their role or responsibility.
