List of Colleges

I have two DS who chose to get "stuck on a boat". And those "boats" make port calls, an opportunity to see the world while serving the greatest Navy in the world. I wouldn't rule it out simply because he doesn't want to "get stuck on a boat". Both my DS are aviation. Fly Navy!
If he changes his mind and decides to apply to NROTC, I will support him whatever his reason(s). As of now, he has decided it is not for him and I support him.

I appreciate the passion each of you have for all branches of the military. This is his decision, not mine. My job as a dad is to help him the best I can.

I am sorry for originally quoting him and upsetting anyone.

I am sure no one is truly upset. There is a lot of good-natured kidding around in the broad military family. Some of us love/loved the sea service life. It’s not for everyone. Back in the last century when I was conscientiously researching service options to ensure I didn’t overlook anything or make rash assumptions based on an impression, I admit to thinking “do not want to play in dirt” when it came to thinking about ground forces options. It was always the ocean for me.

To depart on a peaceful note…

Nobody is upset.

If so, I will issue a butt-hurt chit.
