LOA Missing?

I am a recruited athlete for USAFA, and was notified that I recieved an LOA a few weeks ago through email. My portal changed from the "100% Complete" status to "Your Decision is Ready", with an button to view the document. I also recently recieved a nomination from my MOC 2 weeks ago, so the only thing that was left incomplete on the portal was the DODMERB (due to website outage).

However, when I checked my portal on Friday, my the status on my portal had reverted to the "100% Complete" message. The button to view my LOA was also missing. I saw another related thread regarding a Letter of Interest, but am still unsure of what this could mean.

I'm grateful for any information I can get. Thank you.
 
Are you a recruit or a Blue Chip? There is a difference. The change could also be because your LOA has met all the conditions and is now an offer of appointment. Click on the decision button and you may be surprised with your appointment. Good luck…

I am a Blue Chip. There is no decision button on my portal right now, but hopefully that is the case. Thank you!
 
Happened to me last Thursday (I'm also the LOI poster). I'm not a recruited athlete but I had an LOA and everything in (including nom and DODMERB qualified). Still nothing in my portal either.

USAFA admissions said their website takes a while to update, so (hopefully) you have an appointment pending and it will take some time for the website to update your portal with it. Mine seems to always update at 10:30 AM EST. Best wishes!

I just recieved my appointment this morning! Hopefully yours will show up soon!

Congratulations on accepting your USAFA appointments! Have your parents join the Facebook USAFA Class of 2027 Parents groups. They will get so much information there! They will need to email proof of your appointment and answer all of the questions before they will be admitted.

This group is for Parents and Guardians only.

I tried to post the link but I guess the moderator did not approve it.

Have them look up USAFA Class of 2027 Parents group. There is a photo of the chapel.

same here---my "view decision" button is gone and back to "candidate kit 100% complete"---my last piece is medical and I am qualified but USAFA has not received it from DoDMERB yet......
 
I think its good news for you The same thing happened to my DD (with Dodmerb outstanding due to website debacle) and it my DD received a conditional appointment. I am guessing you will receive an appointment to USAFA conditional on Dodmerb soon. Congrats!

Hi! How long did it take from the time your LOI disappeared for the LOA to appear?

Just heard from congressman office—-the LOA is coming pending DODMERB (which I already passed —-just need them to send it))

I checked my portal today and the "view decision" is gone too? Except I haven't submitted my DODMERB yet (though I'm nearly done with examinations). Not sure what this means

Edit: Nomination was also received, so maybe the "view decision" tab disappeared because my portal updated?
