LOA needing waiver

Hi,

I am just wondering if anyone here knows of someone having an LOA needing a medical waiver (my case) and ended up not getting the waiver and subsequent TWE. I know colorblindness is one they only give out to a few people per class, but if there are any other cases anyone knows of I'd love to hear them.

I have an LOA and will need a waiver. In the same boat lol.

My DS is LOA needing a waiver as well. I presume not all waivers will be granted based on the DQ issue and needs of the force. Otherwise if the waiver was automatic there would be no need to grant the LOA. Just go right to appointment.

I also have an LOA pending a waiver, and it’s definitely a hard wait so I know how you feel.

Some DQs are frequently waivered. Some are never waivered. Some have a numeric cap on waivers in a given cycle, such as color vision deficiency.

Hang in there. The LOA conforms with its name. If you satisfy condition X, and are otherwise fully qualified, an offer of appointment is planned. If you do not satisfy condition X, no offer will be forthcoming.
