Hi All,

DS is currently a junior and homeschooled. Unfortunately, we have reached the limit with our online academy (which has been a really good experience) and they don’t offer a couple of classes we need next year. In particular Spanish 4 is not available at all, and Physics is waitlisted, and we are pretty certain that a spot is not going to open up. We have the option of enrolling in a local Catholic school (which has a solid reputation) or he can take classes at our local CC that allows HS seniors to enroll. Does anyone have an insight/opinion at what might be looked at more favorably, or is it more about doing really well regardless of which option we pick?

My homeschooled ds (USAFA '26) chose to split his senior year classes between a junior college and a local non-accredited homeschool co-op. The main thing we wanted to prove to the SAs was that he could handle college classes and his 4.0 college GPA (including composition and calculus) helped prove that so I think we made a good decision. I think either option is a good one just make sure it works for you.
