I just wanted to see if anybody has the same situation as I have had:
I understand that we are all assigned MALOs that are local to our area, so I was just wondering if it is normal to be this far into the admissions process, and have never heard from or talked to my MALO.

I have talked to a variety of other knowledgeable folks about admissions, and have had plenty of help when I need it, so I was just wondering if it is normal to never encounter my assigned MALO

(he also is not located particularly close to me, and is the state coordinator for my state)

Thanks

You are not all assigned MALOs. The MALO corps is woefully understaffed, far below 50% when I last discussed it with our RC last year. There simply aren't enough. That's why USMA has the Admissions Field Force.

Ok, I hear you, and it sounds like it is not a big deal. Thanks Scoutpilot.
