Well, the good news is that I was just granted a peanut waiver by NROTC-MO. If anyone's curious about my process, I had to submit forms from my allergist stating that I was medically cleared to eat peanuts, as well as a personal statement about my history of the allergy. This took roughly 3 months from start to finish (March - June).

The only problem is, I don't plan on going NROTC-MO and my status has been Under Waiver Review for Army ROTC since February.

Has Army reached out to anyone else regarding medical forms/status updates? I think they're still busy with incoming West Point cadets for R-Day, but I'm curious to hear of other people's current situation.

Army ROTC = US Army Cadet Command and is totally different medical waiver authority than West Point. :wiggle:

I have a whole post about my experience getting a waiver from Army ROTC's waiver authority. You can click my profile and read it if you like. There may be some helpful info in there for you.

My 2 cents: I would be surprised if the Navy gave you a waiver and the Army doesn't. That being said, nobody knows exactly how they evaluate these cases. Generally (and I mean GENERALLY) Army ROTC seems to be one of the 'easier' commissioning sources to get a waiver from.
