The Marine early board meets today. How long will it take for the board's results to be announced?

If I remember correctly it’s a few weeks or even towards Christmas time. I just read the 4-year acceptance thread and saw someone had posted they received a 4-year MO, so was surprised to see that and then this thread.

Do you know if the recruiter contacts the candidate with their results, or will my status say approved or denied on netfocus.

I would say Marine options hear around Christmas but recall the last few years it has been late November.

The last 3 years have been the 3 or 4th week of Nov on the 1st Board. Mid to late March for 2nd Board. The timing can be off since the Boards meet by District and they all vary in scheduling/timing.

I just received my NROTC MO scholarship on Thursday. My status online has not changed. It still says that no decision has been made. However, the Officer came to my school with a billboard'esque' check to present to me. He had called the school and my parents the day before in preparation to surprise me at school the next day. I did receive an email with papers to sign to accept the scholarship as well as a request to do it online. I am not able to update anything online since my status has not changed but I have been informed to wait until Monday since it may update by then. I will be accepting the scholarship but I'm still with the hopes of getting into USNA. Have an LOA and waiting on nomination.

The NROTC-MO portal is very slow to update. Congrats on your scholarship. Keep us all posted on your progress and good luck.
