Did you know Marine Option Midshipmen in the NROTC program have the opportunity to GURANTEE a Student Naval Aviator Contract even prior to shipping to OCS?
Marine Option Midshipmen that are physically qualified, pass the ASTB, and sign a Student Naval Aviator Training Agreement can be apply to be awarded a guranteed flight contract. Upon succesful completion of OCS and The Basic School, Student Naval Aviator Gurantee students are assigned MOS 7599 (Flight Student).
If you are interested in serving as a military aviator, the Marine Option program is an excellent choice. Students have succesfully guranteed this option as early as their 3/C (sophomore) year. There is no need to wait until 1/C year, or post-TBS, to know your assigned MOS.
