Mattis' Letter on civil unrest

I have had MANY conversations with my DS about his path and what it means to be an American in the past few months. When I picked him up from work last night and told him about Adm. Mullen he said " ...see Dad, it's the Navy guys who speak up about what's right...".
 
I suspect we aren’t hearing the whole story.

Lara Logan has put out information from her investigation that Antifa is hijacking the peaceful protesters. The killing of police officers, the looting of stores, the destructions of communities appears to be a coordinated effort. If Logan’s information is correct, we need a coordinated response to this.

Project Veritas is releasing some damning information tomorrow.

Having read both, and the Espers comments, and Having had the same conversations with my son.
I think we can all agree Mattis did it in the most Marine way possible.

Mattis’ letter was a condemnation, a warning, and a threat.

“Be polite, be professional, and have a plan to kill everyone you meet”.
 
I'll be the opposing voice here. Screams of sour grapes. Coordinated attacks and murdered and assaulted peace officers. And you cannot bring people together who have no desire to meet in the middle. The party opposing the president has no desire to even take a step towards working with him. And y'all believe he should bend over for them. That is not why he was elected. What is Mattis doing? Trying to hit the guy who fired him. Just my.02

I respect Mattis's moral character, and and this history of his words and actions lead me to believe this is not the case. Mattis was ready to leave when he was fired.

well it’s telling Mattis left and then the president declared him fired “after” he read the resignation letter.

Remember trump has never either served or actually fired anyone in his employ.
