Would have posted in DoDMERB forum but i need a quick answer. I am in the DoDMERB process and i need to get my medical exam done. I was supposed to go in tOr oday. The place i was assigned does walk in appointments but when i called today, i was notified the doctor listed on my form is on vacation for the next week. Can i still go get the exam done by another doctor or does it have to be the doctor listed on my form (dumb question). Also i already printed out my DoDMERB packet and it says the exam date is today. Is it possible to print out a new packet with the right date, or can i just have the doctor cross out the date and put the correct one when i go?

Contact Dodmets - in your paperwork - but my DS had one name on his eye exam forms, but that Doc wasn't available when we needed, so another doc did the exam(from the same office) and it didn't seem to be a big deal. The physical, he was sent to an urgent care type facility - any doc was good, unfortunately for DS, the doc on duty was a lady -- so he learned his first lesson on sacraficing personal comfort for the military
