Morning,
A month ago, I was honestly in a similar situation. DoDMERB takes a while to process your medical files and all the supplemental paperwork that you may have sent in to their office. During that waiting period, I personally contacted them and asked whether they needed any other information in order to produce a more accurate understanding of my medical status. They responded saying that I was allowed to send whatever I believe would assist the board. Remember they're not looking to disqualify you, they just need to make sure you're fit enough to serve in the military.
Luckily for me, I recieved my medical wavier and an appointment to the USAFAPS a week or two later. They offered me the Prep School so that they can observe me closely during the ten month program to see if their judgement of my medical status was accurate and that I'm able to handle military service. I am definitely thankful for even being given the chance to prove myself.
If you have any questions let me know, I'm here to help!
