I received my notification of acceptance to the USNA. I also received a notice from DoDMERB that I need a medical waiver because I had a spinal fusion and surgical implants in my back to correct scoliosis. I submited medical documents indicating I have no physical restrictions. I'm preparde to submit additional documentation from my orthopedic surgeon reforcing no physical constraints along with letters from varsity coaches and weight trainer. Is there anything else I can do to obtain a waiver?
