Has anyone who was waiting on a medical waiver received an answer yet? We were told to wait until May 15th but curious to find out if they are working though them.
I heard from the parent liason that the USCGA is the strictest when it comes to waivers and I’m wondering if this is the case.

We are also still waiting, but we had a self-induced snafu- so we aren't expecting to hear much before the 15th. Trying to stay calm, cool and collected :) Thanks for initiating this post @allnew2me ! Will be keeping an eye on responses!
 
I am also waiting. Currently on week 4 since the waiver has been sent over, but I think we just need to keep waiting until May 15.

Does anyone know if there are only a certain number of waivers granted? Just wondering if our chances dwindle as the days pass/ as May 15th draws closer?
 
Does anyone know if tomorrow (May 15th) those waiting on a medical waiver decision will hear a yes or no, or is it possible to hear nothing (and assume one did not receive the waiver)?

The DoDMERB portal is often the first indicator of waiver approval/disapproval.

Our son usually saw the waiver status change on the DoDMERB portal well before he received communication from the SA and/or ROTC program.
 
Hello All: Anyone still waiting on medical waiver review? We have been told they are still processing. Just curious because we understood 5/15 was the deadline.

I know that last year, that deadline was stretched a bit longer. I don't remember how long though.

We called yesterday and they said they were still working on them, we didn't get a timeline though. Oddly enough, I am much more relaxed not having a firm date to look towards....

Congrats! We are still waiting to hear, its been 5 weeks since additional AMI was submitted. Been in the process since February. Remaining patient and ready! There must only be a handful of us now.
