"military and physical GPAs", what does that mean/include? How about academic GPA?1. It is based off of your military and physical GPAs and TAC discretion. You can submit preferences but they are rarely honored.
2. TAC officers, based off of the above.
3. Yes. You must do an AIAD or a MIAD to graduate, so you will get one eventually.
From what I understand, your GPA is based not solely only on your academics but also on your military and physical abilities. I don't know if they make selections based on specific sections of the GPA or the overall but I'm sure this will all be explained when you arrive."military and physical GPAs", what does that mean/include? Your total GPA is calculated with 55% academics, 35% military, and 10% physical (I might add that this is also the formula for admissions subbing leadership for military). Military includes grades from your military science classes, summer details, and military grades in your roles as a cadet. Physical is DPE classes and the IOCT."military and physical GPAs", what does that mean/include? How about academic GPA?

MIADs are calculated based off of an OML with just physical and military GPAs. Academics do not matter for MIAD selection.
And to speak on the last comment, talent-based branching MUCH favors aptitude over OML. GPA is still a consideration for more technical branches, but under the new system a passionate cadet in the class rank 900s can get Aviation while under the old system you would've had to have been in the 300s or above. Grad school, obviously yes academics are critical.
