Has anyone from Michigan heard back from either of their main nomination sources (Senator/Congressman)? All of the nomination caseworkers I spoke to said that notification was supposed to be sent out before Christmas, but I have yet to hear anything.

I was rejected by Stabenow and awarded one by Levin, both before 2010 New Years. McCotter's office has still not conducted interviews.

Hope that helped :)

My Son he received a letter from Senator Levin just before the New Year stating that he was well qualified, etc. for the USNA but that he would not give him a nomination because they had been informed that he had "received a nomination from another source." He still hasn't yet received a nomination from anyone else.

The nomination I got from Senator Stabenow was dated December 18th. Although I didn't get a nomination from Senator Levin, I got his decision a few days after Senator Stabenow. Maybe try calling the offices to see if things got lost in the mail

Per the USNA's CIS, my son received a nomination from Congresswoman Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick on January 12th.

I received the rejections from Stabenow and Levin before Christmas. I heard from my Congresswoman that she submitted my nomination last week.

Yesterday I received a phone call from my congressman's office (Gary Peters) awarding me a nomination to USAFA! :)
