I was able to find the approved boots from the 2024 list.

Belleville Khyber, Mountain Hybrid Boot TR550
Garmont T8 BIFIBA Boot
Reebok RB 8808: Sublite Tactical
Reebok RB 8281: Hyper Velocity

The color has to be Coyote but from the online pictures coyote is different depending on the company. Does it matter? (the Reebok looks way lighter than the Belleville)

Also I am reading that they run big and to order a size or a half size smaller?

And lastly which ones really are the best for 12 mile marches!

Any thoughts?

"Best" boots are a very personal choice and bring on as much debate as asking about the best running shoes. Try them on. Even then, something such as how you tie the laces and insert types can affect comfort.

The best ones are the ones that fit you best, especially for a 12 mile ruck. I have a pair of great looking, highly rated trail runners sitting in my closet with a week's worth of wear (can't return them now) - took a chance of ordering online during the lockdown and should have worn them around the house more before hitting the trail. But someone else will benefit when I give them to Goodwill.

Good to research ahead of time, but wait for the new boot memo to come out before buying, as it can change from year to year.

Garmonts are always on the boot list and are probably the best boot for CBT. You can get a new pair for garrison use after the summer is over (you will probably want to).
