MMA (Maine) and SUNY
Hello everyone. I have been looking into these two colleges primarily for their NROTC programs, Marine Option. However I haven't decided if I want to be a Marine officer or a Coast Guard Officer so I am thinking I should decide which way to go once the Junior year obligation thing hits. I could take the Marine Officer commision through ROTC or I could go with the Coast Guard officer commision through the Maritime Academy program. Anyway, I thought these two schools would be the best to do that because they are both maritime academies with NROTC. Any information on these? How do they compare? Does either one have a better reputation than the other? What are the avergage GPA's for entering freshman? SAT's? Thank you all so much for any help!
