I have a question, on MMI's website, it describes the service academy prep program. I know about the AOG scholarships for West Point to MMI, but can you just enroll in that program without a scholarship?

Yes, you can participate in the SAP program as an unsponsored. Speak to LTC Lewis. He is in charge of the program and is a great person to work with. They have a spreadsheet on their web site that lists the numbers that get into the academies each year. For the last couple of years they separate out the unsponsored kids. It is certainly not a given that going through the program without a scholarship will get you in. Based on your forum name, I am guessing you are shooting for West Point. You will want to look at MMI's Early Commissioning Program for the Army as a dual enrollment. This will provide you an opportunity to get an ROTC nomination to WP while at MMI.

Strive offers great advice!

I am just checking in to say my son is currently at MMI (Falcon Scholar) and I can get information to specific questions you may have. I do know he has said there are "free agents" for almost all of the academies attending this year. You can also cover the costs with an AROTC scholarship if you do not receive one from the AOG.

Best of Luck!
