Keep this in mind

If your age gets to be a factor. You can be up to 25 at USMMA . And comissioning CG happens all the time

Im just curious...how are you prior coast guard and 19?

I thought the minimum enlistment age for any branch was 17 with the softbook program but still with a 4 year enlistment.

i am currently in the CG but i was going to get out with a new plan going on that lets emlisted out of there contracts b/c they are trying to get new ppl in the CG.. but i think im going to stay in

BM- I would think that one of the things the CGA would look for is a certain sticktoitability that might not be well illustrated by getting out of your contract early by request. Perhap you should consider taking some classes at the local community college while you finish your enlistment contract.
