I'm a contracted 4 year scholarship MS1. This summer I will be attending Advanced camp with the MS3 groups as OPFOR. This is from May 31 to June 30. I will also be attending CULP from July 9- August 12. What is the usual compensation (pay) during these training? Thanks for any help and if you have something to add about these experiences please do. My CULP mission is in Indonesia. Thanks again

I think this is fairly accurate, my DD and her fellow cadets were told Basic this summer would be just under $1000, which would come out almost exactly to what your estimate is.

DS is a 3year Nation (c/o 2020) finishing his 1st year not sure if they get contracted before going to Summer camp or when get to school for fall. He requested any slot available for specialty schools and they sent requests for Basic Camp; DS, along with all others wanting to contract or at least continue to participate as un-contracted for MS2 year . Guessing that if they are not contracted they would not receive pay (they are provided meals so wouldn't get per diem)?? Is transportation covered if un-contracted? Still waiting to find out which regiment he is assigned so know his dates for Basic Camp and hopefully he gets Air Assault or Airborne specialty too. My sister lives in Louisville so I'm excited can have a big cheering crew for graduation. Hopefully we will know a bit ahead his dates since my Brother-in-law has health issues that they have to try to schedule his treatment dates so he is on recovery weeks for the family events so he is able to enjoy it. Any suggestions for Hotels at Benning if he gets Airborne or Air Assault there instead of Knox? Have a few Airborne cousins that will want to blood wings him at those graduations lol.

3 Year Advance Designee Scholarship recipients don't generally contract until they return to school in the fall. Non-contracted cadets can't attend AB or AA.
Transportation to CIET/Basic Camp is covered for all participants.

Thanks not sure why they let him sign up for specialty camp. But he still has Sopg/Jr and Jr/Sr years for those. Really excited for anything he does at Knox since I know many of the family will come for it. My Brother in Law has unfortunately not been cured by his Stem Cell transplant and has been advised he is only going to be on a Maintenance program so this may well be our first and last time to be together with him as a family. My sis and BIL want this as the 'family reunion' because they want people to be celebrating so we Enjoy that time with BIL not making him feel like a cloud on what should be joyous times. (Hopefully he will get an early class )
