Hello All,

Is it possible to receive multiple service academy nominations? I recently got a USNA nomination, but I really would like to go to the USAFA. Is it possible to receive a nomination to the USAFA from the other senator still? Thanks!

It's possible. I got double nominated to West Point by my senator and congressman and got one nom to USAFA from my congressman. That congressman basically gave me total of three noms: USAFA, WP, and USMMA.

Yes, last yr DS received nom to USMA from 1 Senator and noms to USMA, USNA, & USAFA from our congresswoman. As stated many times on this forum, make sure you apply to ALL nomination sources avaliable to you.

Each MOC handles nominations differently and may coordinate with different offices. In Texas, the two Senators coordinate not to double nominate the same candidate. In districts with many applicants, , most Congressman will make you rank your top choice and only give you one. In other districts with fewer applicants a candidate may get nominations to multiple academies. The number of nominations is more a function of the number of applicants in a district and process that the MOCs use than the strength of the candidate. You only need one to get an offer.
