Is it possible to do both judo and bjj in USNA or do they overlap too much? Further than that can you do multiple sports and extracurriculars in general or is it just one?

I did Judo for some years when I was younger. I'm in BJJ and kickboxing now. I wish to continue both but I don't know if that'll be possible. I also have an interest in hockey or gymnastics. I am curious about several of the extracurriculars that aren't physical as well.

You might be able to BJJ and judo. But I wouldn’t count on anything else if you do Hockey. Gymnastics are a D1 sport and they are pretty good. If you haven’t done it before, don’t count on that sport at a D1 level. Most those young men have trained for close to 15 years by the time they get to USNA. There is a difference between a club sport and an ECA level sport. Club sports can vary in their time commitment. Some are full time demanding. Hockey and rugby fall in this area. Plenty of others do too. An ECA sport won’t take as much time. ECAs such as non-sport clubs can be a lot of time and some very little. A lot of it depends on how much time you want to put in it. There are open houses at USNA to learn about this stuff. Plenty of time to figure it out.
