Name tapes for R-Day

I’m looking at getting the extra name tapes before R-Day for our DS. But I’ve seen ”3-color” and “7-color” style choices for ACU-OCP. But I can’t find any specifics on which ones to get with black stitching. Can anyone help with this and any site recommendations for purchasing other than AAFES exchange. Thanks in advance.
 
The newest version is the 3 color. With the 7 color, a lot of times people couldn't decipher rank or name. I typically get nametapes from USAMM or US Patriot Tactical.

We got these ones https://www.militarynames.com/OCP-west-point-cadets-set.aspx It was recommended on our Facebook West Point moms group. Hope that works for you.

WPDAD2026 if you use FB at all…there is an official class page for the 2026 parents run by the official USMA parent liaison, there is an unofficial page run by the parents, and there is a WP Dads page. Those are great places to ask questions now that your kid has been admitted.

I just went through packing list memo. AAFES is given as store to buy. As a civilian not sure if I can buy from there. Any ideas. I have just checked recommendation from Mb2001. looks good.
 
Just make sure you get the US ARMY and name from the same place, and use on the same uniform. There are subtle and not so subtle differences between font and letter size between companies and it is noticeable!
 
You'll be issued enough for your uniforms during CBT, but I do recommend getting at least 5 extra for your time as a cadet.
