Hey! Congratulations to those who have accepted their appointments to NAPS ‘25. My son is a current M/C at NAPS and football recruit. Please reach out to me if your child is a football recruit for NAPS! I have some info for you! Thanks!!

Hello! I have a son who will most likely go to NAPS in 2025 and will play football...I have an older son who is already at Navy Football, but he went direct. I will gladly take any info that you have. Thank you! Go Navy!

How do I "Reach out" to you? Is there a way to direct message on these forums?

Typically, they need walk ons, so any experienced player has a good chance of making the team at NAPS. Biggest game is playing against Army's version of NAPS. Was played at West Point in 2023, should be at NAPS this Fall.

So since about January I've been prepping to play sprint football at USNA and ive even been in good contact with the coach. What ive shared with him is, I didn't play in high school because of various reasons(NJROTC SNSI talking me out of it, Our football team having a rep for being very toxic, financials, etc) but i did play 7 man full-contact games with friends and even wagering 1v1s, I have a bit of "skill" as a receiver but no official game experience. Would it be possible for me to walk on? I've had friends say its very hard.

Prob easy for NAPS, near impossible for the regular Navy football. You may not play at NAPS but you will practice and suit up for the games. And the away games get you off the base when everyone else is confined to it.

However, I think USNA does have sprint football intramural team.

Unless it is your passion or you are a superstar at a sport, D1 sports at the Academy will cut into your studying and sleep time and I would not advise doing it. Even being on the frisbee golf intramural team counts towards your sports requirement. There are so many options besides D1 varsity sports.

Plus disc golf doesn't put a lot of wear and tear on your body.

Hello, once he has gotten his official NAPS offer and accepted for NAPS and his USNA offer, shoot my an email at navyprepfb2025@gmail.com with a picture of both. By next week, we will have both the NAPS 2025 Fb group set up along with the NAPS 2025 Parent Only group. Meanwhile follow Naval Academy Preparatory School Facebook page and scroll back and you will see tons of info there to have an idea of what it is like there .
