NAPS Nomination Letters of Rec

I’m going into NAPS this fall and I understand I need to reapply for all my nomination sources. I was just wondering who would I ask for letters of rec from, my teachers from high school or my future teachers/coaches at NAPS? Thank you.

Congrats on NAPS! You will get plenty of advice, support and guidance there on the re-application process. After all, that is their mission, to prep you!

You should soon receive an updated version of the annual info brochure. See page 8.


I am sure someone will pop up with a definitive answer. You could always call Admissions or ask on days they have live chat going on.
 
Per DD for NAPS class of 2019, they were issued a new username and password but they didn’t need new recommendations for USNA.
You may need based upon your senator or congress person requirements for nominations. You will have to reapply to all your nomination sources.
 
I am going to NAPS this fall, too. And had the same question. I was told by my congressman's right hand lady that I can pretty much submit the same whole package I submitted last year. Though, she encouraged and implied that the board would rather see an updated package of mine. Meaning, looking over the essays and tweaking them to make them better and use maybe one or two of my high school teacher letters of recs and try to get the rest of the recommendations from the staff at NAPS. Pretty much the board wants to see how you are improving yourself by attending NAPS.
