Hi, I'm new here and I was curious about the NASS application. After you apply, how long before you are notified about whether or not you get in?

i believe i applied as soon as it came out in february, and was notified in april of my acceptance
unfortunately the notification was not as quick as it was for west point SLS in which i was notified of my acceptance just about a week after I applied

Application Specifics

I read earlier that recommendations are not necessary for NASS applications. Can anyone recall specifically what is asked for on the application? We want to be prepared for the upcoming Feb 1st date.

1) extra curriculars
2) GPA
3) class rank
4) test scores

If I remember correctly, it was fairly short, the application. No recommendations are needed. Best of luck to you!

I don not remember any recs being required. Son applied Feb 2 last year. Had acceptance letter in hand before March. We were amazed at the speedy turn around.
