Hey guys,
Just a few quick questions about NASS as the application is right around the corner. Do you choose/rank which session you'd like to go to? Also, from experience which session is the most optimal for making up school work? My school is set to end June 12th, but, since I live in the North East, snow days usually move it back to the 18th, so, anyone who might have experience would it be easier to take finals earlier/later and go with the last session or is it easier to make up school work and take an earlier session. First of all, though, I have to, hopefully, get accepted!
Thanks for the help!

I believe you check the weeks that you are able to go. My school was out of session so someone else will have to give you advice on that front.

I went to NASS this past summer and it was great! In the application, you select the sessions you are able to go. Your admissions chances will not be affected by the week you choose or the number of weeks you are available for. My advice would definitely be to take your exams beforehand. If you don't, you will not be able to study during SS, and if you're like me, you will not enjoy it as much because you will be stressing out about your exams the entire time.

Good luck, I hope you get a chance to go this summer!

Last year, I opted for the earliest week, and took my finals when I got back. I finished school at about the same time as you. That worked out well for me.

Both ways sound good... I feel like I'll end up checking every box and, if I get in, dealing with the issues then

NASS

DS chose the week of his final exams to go to NASS and he took finals the week prior. Just meant studying a bit earlier but he basically got out of the last week of classes since he had to take exams. He said it was very worth it!
