Yes I went to Inspire last spring, and received it again. It’s a general email list we are on.

Can anyone verify the Gmail address from which they received the USNA Inspire invite? My DD received an invite today as well, and I am not sure it is valid. Just looking to see if anyone knows for certain the emails sent out are from USNA Admission.
I received the same email in May, it is from USNA. I attended the program, and it was great!
I know its suspicious because its Gmail but it proves to be real.
Thank you. I am aware the program is real. However, I cannot find anything on the Academy website, or google that references the USNA Inspire dates specified in the email. Is the same email address: My Company <admissionsusna@gmail.com>

Yes, that is the email.
But on the email sent, there is also an usna.edu email for any questions.

USNA uses Google Workspace, which includes gmail. They started using this interface some years ago for intranet work.
I would think they would use the usna.edu, but it may be a quirk of wherever the program is internally managed from.

Hi, when you submitted the application of the program, did you get a following up email about details of the program? I just submitted one for my son, but nothing was informed.

Hi Joanna, my DD submitted hers earlier this evening and she has not received any follow-up.
Might *gently* say that this is a great opportunity to step back and let your DS spread his wings a bit. Make him submit the applications himself. This was a difficult lesson for me this past Spring as my daughter began the initial steps of her academy applications, but it’s been awesome to step back and watch her grow through the process. She knows I’m here to provide my input (if asked) but, ultimately, these are her decisions to make.

How long does it take a for you to find out if your accepted?
After responding of the invitation for the inspire program, what happens next? Can all responders participate in the program or will USNA select some of them?
Thank you for your reply. Actually, yes, my son submitted the application. We both are learning and growing through this process. Can you tell me what happens next after submitting the application?

I haven’t received this but USNA certainly has my email address as I attended NASS. Can anyone confirm that this invitation is something sent to everyone? Thank you.
It sure is different, isn’t it? At least for me, I think this has been just as much of a growing experience as it has for my DD. Hers a link to a previous thread that goes into this program.
Inspire Program
I received an email about the Inspire person for USNA. I can’t really find more research on it. Should I contact my B&G officer for more info? I don’t really know much about it, but I’ll attach what I got here. Thanks.

My son and husband went last year. Fantastic opportunity. It’s a process to get selected, including a zoom call interview. Several hundred interviews conducted, then around 100-120 kids are selected go. Go to the “Naval Academy Admission” Facebook page and scroll back to April 5, 2023, some greats pics from last April when he was there.

I do not believe it is sent to everyone. My understanding is that this program’s purpose is to recruit underrepresented populations/districts. Based on thread I posted above, I believe last spring they only invited 300 candidates to apply. Not sure about this iteration
