Taking our son to Annapolis before he makes his decision. We have stayed at the Navy Lodge across the river but the Navy Getaway is also available for the dates in March we need. Is the Getaway on the yard? Is parking at the Getaway? He has stayed several times on USMA and I would prefer he get the same at USNA if possible. He canceled his CVW and doesn't want to miss more school so this will be it for him at USNA.

Thanks!

We stayed there as a family a year ago just doing a weekend getaway and loved it. Definitely nicer than typical lodging and close enough to Walk into downtown for supper and breakfast. My 4 year old still asks if we can go to Maryland. I think USNA converted a little Army/VMI brat!

Gateway Suites in the yard are pretty luxurious and often are senior folks.
I stayed there when I was a guest speaker for a Dining In

We lucked into a suite for a weekend in March. I am hopeful we leave with a decision and plans to be made. Not sure what the paperwork for USNA entails but USMA is pretty busy. We are neutral as we love and support our soldier at USMA but his brother has his own choice. Leaning Army currently but wanted to visit USNA for a reason. He is very fortunate and cannot make a wrong decision. We love DTA so my husband and I are looking forward to it.

Gateway is nice. The suites are large and spacious. In the heart of the yard close to a lot. Next to the O Club and there are reserved parking spots. A 2-3 minute walk to the chapel.
