Does anyone have any info on this? Do you need previous experience for it? If I get in, I would really like to "tryout" or be on this team so I was wondering if anyone had any information on this. Sailing, especially offshore sailing, looks extremely fun so I would really like to do that. Thanks!:shake:

Not at all, no experience necessary. Virtually all candidates become JV sailors, learning, practicing. It is alot of work, great experience, terrific fun, lifelong "sport." Summers and other times often take offshore sailor/Mids to grand, exciting, exotic ports, places and races.

VERY time-consuming including practice days, long and multiple seasons, and quite often really cool summer blocks. This has to be one of the best athletic endeavors at USNA.
