Never too late to do the right thing...

Although he wasn't the only black to be ostracized by the USMA, he is definitely the most accomplished. B.O. Davis is truly an inspiration. I bet he was probably top five in his class, but his "ratings" dropped him to 35th.
 
One of the highlights of EAA Oshkosh AirVenture for me was to to listen to George Lucas introduce his movie RED TAILS at the outdoor Fly-IN theater along with several Tuskegee Airmen who shared their stories. My scrapbook is filled with pictures of these heroes shaking my children's hands at AirVenture. One day I hope my children will appreciate the significance. What an honor for Benjamin Davis to be recognized at West Point.
