hello, i am a soon to be high school sophomore that is interested in going to west point. i went to an admissions presentation in february and i was very impressed. any advice on obtaining a nomination or the admissions process would be greatly appreciated!

Check out the USMA and the Nominations forums, there is lots of good advice there. You are smart to start looking for information now.
Basic advice:
-Take the highest level classes you can handle (honors and AP if possible)
-Keep your GPA up
-Try for leadership positions such as team captain, club president, or class officer
-stay out of trouble
