District 1 nominations

Congressman Heinrich sent a nomination to my son for USAFA and to my son's friend for USNA. Best of luck to you
 
Did your son receive a letter in the mail or get the information from the Academies' websites? If they received letters in the mail, would you mind sharing when they arrived?

I just chekced my USMA portal and a nom from Heinrich is there :). However, I really want one for USAFA. At the time of the interview USMA was my top choice but now USAFA is. So for at least two USMA was my top choice, but I really hope on one I have USAFA as my top and am able to get one there. Any Word from the senators?
 
No letter

Congressman Henrich didnt send a letter, it was just updated on the USAFA website
 
I've heard of them filtering in from all the nominating sources in NM. Please be patient though. These folks have until the end of the month to send their noms to the academies. Since this was an election year (2010) for the Representives, there may be some delays.
 
I got nominations to USMA from Heinrich and Bingamin and USAFA from Udall, any appointments? Also has Bingamin and Udall showed up on anyone's portal yet?
 
My DS friend got notified of acceptance to USMA this past weekend. ABQ but not sure of nomination source
