POTUS has put up Army SEC Mark Esper to be the next Secretary of Defense.

• SEC of the Army confirmed in Nov 2017.
• Army LTC
• Active Duty 10 years then NG and Army Reserve
• Infantry Officer 101st Airborne
• Ranger Tab
• Former Rifle Company Commander - Europe.
• Bronze Star and CIB (Gulf War)
• Chief of staff at The Heritage Foundation
• Former staffer for Sen Chuck Hagel and Sen Fred Thompson
• 7 years at Raytheon as SVP Government Relations.
