Why haven't I received a candidate number yet? I submitted the application for NASS last week and got an email saying I was accepted 3 days ago but I didn't see anything regarding my candidate number or how to log into the candidate portal. Did admissions not see me as competitive enough to receive a candidate number? I am also not 17 yet if that has any impact on when I get my candidate number.

Oh okay, I assume that's the same for everyone who has filled out a preliminary application?

You have to be 17 on the day you report in, not have reached that age while applying.
Correct. No one gets to start yet.
