I just got nominated for the USAFA, however when I check who it was from, it says California - Senator 81 Nomination. Could someone please clarify what that means?

Ours did that as well in Oklahoma. About a week later, our Sentors either sent an email or mailed the letter so we knew which one it was from!

I believe the 8 means it is a senator nomination. The 1 or 2 after the 8 usually means senior or junior Senator. Either way, its likely a senate nom.

Yes, due to Senator Feinstein's passing, only my application for Padilla went through, or so I believe.

We had Senator Butler's interviews on 12/2, so we (I) are all just anxiously waiting for hers to drop.

We originally submitted to Feinstein as well. We did not submit anything to Butler, but DD was asked to be interviewed by Butler's team. Hopefully, this gives you more clarity on your situation. All the best to you.

Thank you for giving us that info. I am from Georgia and was trying to figure out why my nomination from Senator Warnock (junior Senator, learned something there) was listed this way in my portal: Georgia - Senator 82 Nomination Received.
