Nomination Time

I was notified by email and phone that I would be receiving my congressman's nomination for USAFA, but the portal has yet to update. I was just wondering how long does it take for the portal to update and show nominations.

Typically, less than a week. Try not to worry about things beyond your control.

Deadline for the nomination to be in is 1/31/2018. My DS nomination came up on the portal on 2/1 at 12:34 am. So, congratulation for getting the nomination and if everything is done on your portal, it's going to be just another waiting game. Good Luck.

Should I call my congressional office for Nomination since our deadline in oct was pushed back after the Event that took place in LV. I was wondering if the Jan 31 deadline would still be on point?

Congrats on the nomination! It took 1-2 weeks from when I got my nomination notice (in the mail) to when it showed up on my USAFA portal...it just takes a little bit.

We learned about DD's nom on the portal. Letter arrived 4 days later so clearly there is no standard answer.

I still haven't completed DODMERB, so I have not heard whether I got an appointment yet...

Yes, like Bracken said, there's no standard answer...my 2nd nomination popped up in my portal, and then I got an actual letter a couple weeks later from my Senator...whereas my Representative's nomination letter got to me a couple weeks BEFORE it showed in the portal. Whenever it shows, it shows.
