First post so forgive me if answer is obvious. Son just saw this on his portal. There has been no correspondence/notification from the Congressman’s office. Does this message indicate that he has received a nomination?

Elected officials can run their process any way they like, including whether or not they inform applicants.

Congrats on the nomination. I can’t PM you but I noticed in the photo that there is a notification from back in October that the DODMERB is ready to be scheduled. Has your son called to schedule his DODMERB appointments yet? If not he should!

Both the physical and optometry exams were completed in late October. The results were sent so waiting for final medical clearance. He emailed DODMERB this week and they replied they are processing as fast as they can. Thank you!

Sometimes you might get a letter in mail after the portal is updated, either way this is good news! Congrats on the nomination!

DODMERB finally cleared yesterday on (12/21). He is now fully cleared with a nomination!
