Any time between January 31st and April 15th. ;)

Seriously - MOCs all work differently - and there are 535 of them.

Are you in GA by chance? My DD had her MOC interview on the same day and we haven’t heard from their office yet at all.

Are you talking about nomination notifications? Nomination slates are not due until Jan 31st. My ds also had his interviews that weekend and was told he'd hear back before Christmas. My oldest ds didn't hear back from our MOC until late Jan (interviews were also in mid-November...same office). Each office is different and offices can change their procedures each year.

DS had first senator interview 7th October, second 18th Nov and HoR interview in between. Staffers from both Senator's office said end Dec before announcements and HoR early Jan.

Many have said already but patience or, as someone put it wonderfully, 'healthy waiting' is a virtue in this game!

Yes, that happened to my oldest (now at USAFA). They really wanted to get them out before Christmas but the office was not able to do that for whatever reason. They did a good job communicating that to my ds once they were realized they were going to be later than expected. Some offices don't notify at all and candidates just find out when noms hit the portal...or not.

Of note, my DS saw a nomination on his portal at about 11:30 pm and it definitely was not there 2 hours earlier. He happened to have the window open and refreshed. Nothing on the other 2 he applied for. But when he woke up and checked at 7 am, there were noms on the other two portals. Weird, but it looks like they dropped in overnight!

MOCs are free to conduct their nom application, evaluation, selection and notification processes as they wish. That also means they may not notify you by any means of a nom.

Ditto appointments. The SAs tell them in advance. Some notify, some don’t.

You just might casually log into your SA portal to check something else, and you’ll let out a yell of surprise when you see a nom has slithered into your portal checklist.

USNA Coach asked me if I got the slate position for my nom. What does that mean? How do I know if I got it?
