Norwich NROTC

Hello everyone, I was fortunate enough to get an NROTC-MO scholarship to Norwich University which I plan to accept. Before I do I was wondering if anyone on here could offer any insight as to what the NROTC unit at Norwich is like, and what I should expect going in?
 
Above is great advice. When I was searching for a good unit to join I'd ask to set up a phone call with the MOI or one of the LT's to discuss questions I had about the program. I always found them very helpful and informative. It seems like your pretty commited to Norwich already, however I would reach out and ask to set up a call if you have any reservations. It's a very important choice after all.
 
Congrats! We have a NROTC student there who would be happy to talk with you, and she could put you in touch with fellow students who are MO as well. Not sure if it is practical for you, but they have an open house coming up on 3/16 (a day program) and also a leadership weekend at the end of March. Our daughter did that leadership weekend and it was a great experience and she met a lot of her soon-to-be classmates that weekend, and it really helped her get a feel for the school. Current Freshman here, my roommate is a 4/C MIDN on a 4-year. Let me know if you want me to put y'all in touch. He's a band trainee and Mechanical Engineer if any of that is appealing to learn about.
