Just thought I would say I am already experiencing some bits of nostalgia as the SLE threads begin to pop up signaling that there are class of 28 hopefuls beginning to filter into the thread. Feels a bit surreal that I was in the same boat a year ago (in regards to applying and attending SLE) and now I have my appointment waiting for R-Day.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask away!

Senior year really does fly by!

Embrace the suck!

Same here :) SLE was the experience I needed to fully commit. Now we both are waiting until R-Day. Go class of '27!

We just went through application, acceptance, R-Day last year - one son a plebe at USMA …. Then brother decided to graduate a year early (to spend more time with his brother at West Point) so he doubled up on classes - skipped his junior year - received a principal nom. (In Virginia) and now has his own offer of appointment and is awaiting R-Day … what a roller-coaster the last two years have been! And, as we USMA parents know, it doesn’t stop with R-Day ….. There is a constant stream of events for parents and many milestones for the cadets coming soon… Good luck to all and enjoy the ride!
