Sounds like a good item to send to update your file. However your portal will not be updated until it is officially received from the MOC which in DS's case took awhile. The say send updates of significant accomplishments, if this isn't one I don't know what is.
The Nomination Authority is required to submit Form MA-423 to the Academy.
MA-423 is the official form to be completed by the nominating authority and is a required part of the application process for acceptance into the Academy.
Deadlines: Nominating authorities may submit the names of their nominees to the Academy any time between August 1 and January 31 of the school year preceding that in which admission to the Academy is sought.
