NROTC and AROTC Summer schedule

Hi all, my kid is still waiting for school decisions and have N/AROTC scholarships. Meanwhile, we are planning summer travels. If she goes to SA, only time for travel is June. If she doesn’t go to SAs, what is her “free time” during this summer if she decides to go to ROTC route?

If she does NROTC, she will have to attend NSI which is a couple weeks long. There's different sessions for it, and she would go to one of them. The rest of the summer is free, before and after NSI, until whenever she ahs to show up to her college for first year orientation (NROTC unit might require them to show up a couple days ahead of this for their own campus-specific orientation).
